"With 9+ years experience in the beauty, fashion, theatre & film makeup industry, I have gained the skills and knowledge of makeup application for all occasions, and for both women and men of all ages, skin types, tones and face shapes. Having the time to connect with each of my clients during makeovers and lessons is definitely my favourite part of the job, as I love making you feel and look as special and beautiful as you already are.

In 2015 I spent the year as a volunteer for the New Zealand Cancer Society's 'Look Good Feel Better' charity event in which makeup artists like myself volunteer to coach and makeover incredible women fighting the effects of cancer treatments. This completely inspired me, and proved to me just how much of an impact makeup can have on how we feel, so I launched Makeup Etc with the goal to embrace the power makeup can have.
I use a variety of makeup brands as part of my kit in order to achieve the most perfect results to suit each individual and occasion. I am passionate about skincare & makeup products, so am always eager to offer product insights or recommendations.

Teaching women how to apply their own makeup is an absolute passion and talent of mine, but if asked what my specialty makeup skills are as an artist, I would have to say that I am confident in my ability to work with more mature women & brides in particular, as I have worked with many women of all ages, including a few lovely ladies in their 80's who are always thrilled with the final outcome. I also thoroughly enjoy Special FX and Halloween makeup, with 2 years of working on horror/thriller films under my belt.

My aim when doing a client's makeup is to achieve the look they desire without compromising or masking their natural features. Like myself, my grandma was also a makeup artist back in the 1960s and she told me the best advice to date; that you should see the person, not just the makeup. I look forward to hearing from you about how we can create a beautiful look for your occasion together. "
